Dr. Stella Nkenke is a physician based in Vienna and President of the Milton Erickson Society for Clinical Hypnosis in Germany. For the past five years, she has been the scientific director of the postgraduate university program in Medical Hypnosis at the Medical University of Vienna, where she teaches physicians and other healthcare professionals how to integrate hypnosis into somatic medicine and clinical practice.
She is also Vice Chair of the International Society of Hypnosis and a member of its Board of Directors.
Her main clinical and professional interests are the treatment of children and adolescents with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), mental training and hypnosis for elite and amateur athletes, and working with musicians who experience performance anxiety and other challenges related to performing on stage.
Alongside her professional life, Stella is the mother of three adult children and a passionate golfer.
