ABRAHAMSEN, Randi
Danish Society of Clinical Hypnosis (DSCH)

Dentist, PhD Randi Abrahamsen, Aalborg, Denmark
My intentions for the ESH are to:
Increase interest in hypnosis throughout Europe.
Raise awareness of the evidence for the effectiveness of hypnosis among healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations, and health policymakers across Europe.
Increase public awareness of how hypnosis can help in the treatment of various conditions and problems by sharing research findings and patient case stories with the press.
Strengthen collaboration between clinicians and researchers. Continue developing the ESH Research Project and encourage our members to invite their patients to participate.
Promote high standards of education in hypnosis. Continue working towards a common European curriculum adapted to the various professional fields. Strengthen collaboration with universities to integrate hypnosis into university curriculum and explore the possibility of establishing a dedicated master’s degree in hypnosis.
Promote the ESH Certificate for clinicians who have completed 200 hours of training in hypnosis.
Strengthen collaboration with the Council of Representatives (CoR), the heart of the ESH, by actively involving CoR members in developing new ideas and improving the ESH’s organisational structure.
