Academic and post-academic degree: Master in psychology at the University of Vienna (Austria) in 2010. Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Health Psychologist at the ÖAP (Austrian Academy for Psychology)
Professional career: I have worked more than 10 years in psychiatric settings. 5 years of it I was asked as head psychologist to build an integrative therapeutic setting with the Hypnosystemic Approach according to Dr. Gunther Schmidt, which was a great opportunity as the station was/is nurse-lead. Because of that I was very free to build a hypnotherapeutic frame for working with psychiatric clients who stayed for 6 month at the station bringing together psychiatry, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, art therapy, sports therapy, leisure education and the nursing profession. I quit this job just a few weeks before the pandemic struck our lives to work on some projects and books and of course in a private practice.
I started with hypnosis in 2012 at the MEGA (Milton Erickson Society Austria), which was of course Ericksonian. But at the same time I studied the Hypnosystemic Approach and Brainspotting. From that time on it was unthinkable how hypno-thinking could not be integrated into practically everything.
I was a member of the board of directors at the MEGA from 2015 to 2022. And from 2018 to 2022 I was honoured to be the president of this society which has a long tradition (founded 1989).
I am a trainer for clinical hypnosis, neurofeedback and teach integrating hypno with Brainspotting, PEP-Tapping and everything that crosses my way.
What do I want to achieve with and for the ESH:
help to further connect ESH and constituent societies and members.
promote knowledge about the versatility of therapeutic hypnosis and to debunk some myths about hypnosis in the public field
establish projects which help to promote hypnosis in the public field
