|Professor David Spiegel, Associate Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences at Stanford, is a world expert on the use of hypnosis in clinical settings and a senior figure in the field of mental health, trauma and psychosocial oncology. Professor Spiegel will be discussing the role of hypnosis in pain management and will show the areas in the brain where these effects are seen.
The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session.
