Hungarian Association of Hypnosis (HAH)

I am a Psychologist and a Specialist of Health Promotion at the National Institute of Child Health, Budapest, Hungary, where I study adolescent mental and sexual health in the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) international research project.

I volunteered at Semmelweis University, Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Dermato-Oncology between 2011 and 2013. I was in charge for psychological support of inpatients with skin diseases and conducted clinical research in psychodermatology.

Being a PhD Candidate of the Behavioural Psychology Doctoral Program at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), I teach affective psychology and research methodology to undergraduates. My main research interest is hypnotic susceptibility. I am preparing my PhD dissertation on hypnotic responsiveness and facets of affective processing.

As a health psychologist and Candidate Hypnotherapist I am seeing clients with psychosomatic, somatization and skin diseases in my private practice. I also study the psychosocial issues of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transsexual (LGBT) identity, and giving counselling to LGBT clients.

I am a member of the Hungarian Psychological Association, the Hungarian Association of Hypnosis, and recently I have been elected to the Board of Directors in the European Society of Hypnosis.

I regularly write articles to a psychological magazine “Mindennapi Pszichológia”.
